New Delphian Group Starts With Cigarettes Are In... an acquaintance was describing a recent bridge game: one player was trying to break the habit by smoking the very little cigars that "look like a cigarette dunked in coffee." Letting curiosity get the best of her, the partner courageously sampled a little cigar. She decided they were not too bad until she forgot and inhaled. Talk about smoker’s cough and bronchitis — I understand the game never did return to normal.

Lady Lions Accept "Mr. Money Bags"
Miss Ellen Barr, past president of The Soroptimist Club of Anaheim presented "Mr. Money Bags," a toy bank, to Mrs. Stuart Olson, president of the West Anaheim Lady Lions.
"Mr. Money Bags" was the pet project of Miss Barr during her tenure as president of the Soroptimists this past year. All fines collected from the members were deposited with "Mr. Money Bags" and the funds accumulated were used to purchase 12 figurines from England depicting the Children's classics for the Anaheim City Library.
"Mr. Money Bags" has been so successful in helping the Soroptimists accumulate funds it was decided he will be passed on to the West Anaheim Lady Lions as an incentive for money to be saved for civic projects.
"Mr. Money Bags" has become famous with the Soroptimists and it is hoped he will become just as well known with the West Anaheim Lady Lions who will send the bank to another woman's club at the end of 1964 with the purpose of saving money for a civic project. Each year a different women's club will take possession of "Mr. Money Bags."
