Girl Scouts Pay 20 Cents Monthly Girl Scouts Pay 20 Cents Monthly To Support Abandoned Korean Baby Fifty Anaheim junior and senior high schoolers in Troop 262 and 145 of the Girl Scouts of America recently sent their baby "sister" in Korea presents for her first birthday. Troop members "adopted" Jung Hak Ja from Dr. J. Calvitt Clarke, Founder and International Director of the Christian Children's Fund, Richmond. Each girl pays 20 cents a month to help support their "adoptee." Hak Ja was abandoned by her parents when she was only a few days old. Now this lovable, sweet and quiet infant lives at the CCF supported Kyong Dong Babies' Home in Suwon, Korea. At the present, Hak Ja, whose name means "Learned," only likes to eat, sleep and play with her rag doll in the nursery. All the Girl Scouts have taken the little child into their hearts and want to do everything possible for her. Most of them have expressed a desire to bring Hak Ja to this country "so we can really raise her... She really seems to belong to us now," stated the Troop sponsor. Christian Children's Fund is the largest organization of its type — presently assisting over 43,000 children. Dr. Clarke and his wife, Helen, report that they always have more hungry children than sponsors. They have a long waiting list of orphanages requesting help — and the orphanages in turn have waiting lists of children needing assistance. Sponsors send $10 a month toward the child's care, choosing a boy or a girl. TAKES CRUISE Midshipman First Class James G. McWalters, son of Mr. and Mrs. John P.
