McFie. The 44 page pamphlet is being issued by the Post Office Department as part of its centennial celebration of the Paris Conference of 1863. The Paris Conference, held at the suggestion of Montgomery Blair, was the first international conference on postal problems and led to the founding of the Universal Postal Union, which refutes the handling of international mail. Although he ran the Post Office Department during the chaotic Civil War period, Blair was responsible for some of the most important mail handling innovations in the country's history. He introduced free delivery of mail in cities, the money order system, and the railway post office to assemble and distribute mail en route. will be these lines: "The one Ego, the one Mind or Spirit called God, is infinite individuality, which supplies all form and completeness and which reflects reality and divinity in individual spiritual man and things" ("Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy p.281). Ego is Church Topic The nature of man's ego will be explored this Sunday at First Church of Christian Science, in a Bible Lesson entitled, "Soul and Body." Responsive Reading by the Anahei congregation will open with this verse: "My soul shall make her boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad" (Ps. 34:2). A county-wide meeting will be hosted by the Tustin Republican Assembly at a time and place to be announced later. Schmitz stated that this meeting, being held at the specific request of Neligan, will provide an opportunity for the State President to gain a better understanding of the views held by conservative Orange County. “This county, long forgotten by the State CRA, brought itself strongly to the attention of the state officers by its surprising gain in delegate strength at the last CRA convention and by its excellent precinct work in the last election,” said Schmitz. The Orange County Republican assemblies are implementing their promise as recently wired Nelligan to build membership in the CRA, by the use of a unique membership drive dubbed by Schmitz as the “Anaheim Plan.” Democratic Group Hills Vacant Slot The Orange County Democratic Central Committee has votedanimously for Sylvia H. Anneuff (Mrs. Charles) to fill the vacant chair in the Second Superiorial District. Mrs. Faneuff, of 16711 Rhone nee, Huntington Beach, mother of two children, has been active civic affairs since her arrival Orange County almost three years ago. Using this plan, Anaheim is increasing its rolls at a rate of about forty members per month. The plan, developed by Anaheim Membership Chairman Warren McNear, is now being studied by all Orange County Units for application to their membership drives. The Goal is 600 members in the County by December of 1963. Son of Local Exec Honored Richard W. Smith a fourth-year design student in the University of Southern California’s School of Architecture, has been awarded the third annual $2500 Rapid Blue Print Traveling Fellowship for a year’s study abroad, beginning in August. Richard is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard R. Smith of Garden Grove. Howard Smith is Assistant to the Vice President of Central Administration for Autonetics in Anaheim. Selection of Smith was made by Henry R. Davis, president of Rapid Blue Print Co., whose father and brothers were architects, Ross Montgomery, A.I.A., of Los Angeles, and USC’s Dean of the School of Architecture, Sam T. Hurst. “Smith was selected in recognition of the variety and strength of talent he displayed in many areas,” Davis commented. “The quality of his sketches and freehand work convinced us that he is not only a scholar but an artist as well. His presentation was extremely well-planned and he knows exactly what he wishes to see and study. He is particularly interested in Melodyland Tickets ‘Go’ Public interest in Melodyland Theatre in Anaheim, the Southland’s newest entertainment center, which opens July 2 with “Annie Get Your Gun,” is running high and producers Sammy Lewis and Danny Dare report a total of $60,000 in season tickets already sold.
