They are Palika, known during daylight hours as hard-working chemist Paul Rumfelt; Kaui, on the left, above, a busy housewife and mother many of her hours as Mrs. Eleanor Conti, and Pilani, on the right, mother and Anaheim housewife Mrs. Grace DePorter. The girls are both native Hawaiians. All have been appearing professionally in their specialties. They may now be seen at the Royal Tahitian in Ontario. LONGEVITY NOTE SALT LAKE CITY (UPI)—The City Cemetery may start observing a five-day week for burials. The City Commission has been asked to confine burials there to Monday through Friday and eliminate Saturday rites. It's a money-saving idea based on figures showing there are not enough deaths to warrant burials six days a week. Ballet Program Will be May 19 The Santa Monica Civic Ballet, in association with the Anaheim Junior Ebell Club, will present an exciting afternoon of ballet at the Anaheim Union High School on Sunday, May 19, at 2:15 p.m. This entirely professional company, under the direction of former Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo soloist Andrei Tremaine, has delighted Southland audiences with fully staged productions of the highest artistic quality and has been noted for its presentation of nationally known ballet dancers. The program includes the Second Act of Nutcracker with balerina Riane Laundon and principal dancer Andrei Tremaine, plus the full company of 30 dancers. The beautiful settings for Nutcracker were designed by Palmer Schoppe, California artist and muralist of the UCLA Theatre Arts Department. A featured attraction will be Alexander Nigodoff of Teheran, Iran, who will dance the lead in the Coppelia Divertissements and the Russian Trepak in Nutcracker. The romantic white ballet, Les Sylphides, will star Patricia Norman of the San Francisco Ballet and principal dancer Bruce Bain, formerly with the International Ballet of Mexico. A colorful and humorous Quadrille Russe, especially choreographed for this performance by Mr. Tremaine, completes the program. Stress Values Of Tax Record Income tax paying time is over for another year, but it is not too soon to think about making things easier for yourself next year. Systematic record keeping is one way you can save time, money and frustration on next year's tax returns, suggests Dorothy Wenck, Orange County Home Advisor. A one sheet record form, "itemized Deductions for Income Tax," is available from the University of California Agricultural Extension Service. Mrs. Wenck points out that the tax payer can use this form to record his deductible expenses throughout the year as they occur and have them ready to add up and record on his tax form. No need to search through piles of bills, no danger of forefeeling some important item when you use this method, says Dorothy. FLYING HUBBIES HUNTINGTON, W. Va. (UPD)—One of the hazards of the flying school business is wives who object hysterically to their husbands learning to fly, says Bill Richards of Downtown Huntington Airport. Richards says he has to send the bills of married students to special postal addresses for that reason.
