Ball Invitations
Mailed Today
Invitations are in the mail today for Damas de Caridad's second annual benefit, "Bal Masque Internationale" Feb. 22 at the Disneyland Hotel Embassy Room.
The black tie dinner-dance will again feature a pageant of 12 mannequins, all members of the "Ladies of Charity," who will model for a masques designed by members of the Orange County Florists Association.
Preparations for the ball have accelerated rapidly this week for committee members alike.
Mannequins took a short break in their schedule of rehearsal and choreography classes directed by Mrs. Phil Renick of Yorba Linda to travel to the flower market in Los Angeles for a preview of the types of fresh flowers which will go into the design of their masques.
Florist Association president Robert Schroeder of Newport Beach and Wayne Andrade of Anaheim acted as guides for the early morning trip.
