Today, our good savings customers, as owners, are known by the preferred designation of "savers" or "savings account holders." Some years ago they were referred to as "share account holders" or "share accounts." We are a mutual organization with no capital stock. As owners, our account holders and borrowers have the right to vote in the selection of a board of directors as their representatives in the conduct of the general affairs of our business. To owners, also, belong the earnings which are distributed as dividends or retained in the business as reserves after all operations are paid. Likewise, they have an equity or ownership rights in all the assets of the association. Being a part owner of a mutual organization such as First Federal Savings of Alhambra, gives the investor a closer relationship with management than is usually the case. Your wishes come first. Thus, in accordance with your wishes, our association has been organized & operated these past 37 years for the purpose of receiving savings to be invested to the best advantage of our saver-owners rather than with the sole objective of earning a high rate of interest. So prime consideration is given to the safety and availability of your savings. That's as it should be since our customers are our owners.
