The instructor can check on the action of each student, even to the extent of knowing how far the accelerator, brake, pedal, and steering wheel have been moved. The drive trainer has been acclaimed by educators and traffic safety authorities as a valuable and significant step in simplifying and improving instruction in driving. The inclusion of this training service in the program reduces the amount of time normally required for instruction in the dual control car by approximately one-half.
