All-Year Top Marathon
A chariot race, a festival of kite flyers and a world’s championship gold-panning contest be colorful events in the South during March, according to schedule released by the All-Year Club today.
The All-Year Club spreads word of this area’s interest events in its work of attract tourists who spent nearly $69 million here last year.
Chariots used in the movie Hur” will be raced during the Cajon rodeo program Mar. and April 1, the Junior Challenger of Commerce announced.

John Fulton, 9611 Paradise Anaheim, will exhibit at the Annual Exhibition of the Nat Academy of Design opening the Academy's galleries, Fifth Ave., Thursday, Feb. 2 continuing through March 18 exhibition will include 305 bits, painting in oil, sculpt prints, drawings and watercolors by artists from 12 states: members and 154 nonmen are represented.

All-Year Club Gives Top March Events
A chariot race, a festival of 750 flyers and a world's championship gold-panning contest will colorful events in the Southland spring March, according to the schedule released by the All-Year Club today.
The All-Year Club spreads the record of this area's interesting events in its work of attracting artists who spent nearly $695 million here last year.
Chariots used in the movie "Ben Hur" will be raced during the El Paso rodeo program March 31 and April 1, the Junior Chamber Commerce announced.

The 47th annual National Orange Show will be held at San Bernardino March 15 to 25, with orange exhibits, big name shows, more than 1,000 4-H youngsters in livestock and home economics exhibits, giant hobby show and International Flower and Garden Show.
The annual Daffodil Show will be held Mar. 17 and 18 at Descanso Gardens, with daffodils exhibited along the wooded paths among the 100,000 Camellia bushes and trees.
More than 500 floral exhibits by nurserymen, cut flower growers and florists and garden clubs will be shown in seven acres of exhibits at the California International Flower Show at Hollywood Park Mar. 16 to 25.
Auxiliary Planning Festival of Wines
The Women's Auxiliary to the Orange County Pharmaceutical Association recently held their February meeting at Mr. Peter Perak's home in Santa Ana. The luncheon guests were the state president, Mrs. John Foley and state secretary, Mrs. Dudley Conness.
The "Festival of Wines" is the Auxiliary's big fund-raising event of the year and will be held at the Tustin War Memorial March 31 from 6 to 9 p.m. All money made from this event goes into the scholarship loan fund.Tickets available from Mrs. Gilber Haro — PR 2-3142.

Los Angeles donned a floral raiment this week as the second annual World Flower and Garden Show opened at Pan-Pacific Auditorium for a 10-day festival of blossoms.
The profusion exploded upon the public look at noon, wiley M. Knudson, chairman Angeles Beautiful, and Talbott, queen of the Show, joining in the ribbeting.

Bowlers Invited To Forum at "300" Bowl
An interest in competing for huge prize money and an ABC or WIBC membership card is all that a bowler needs to attend the forum Saturday and Sunday, March 3-4, at La Habra "300" Bowl when Maxie Kosof will serve a free buffet and refreshments as he outlines the format of his World Open Classic.
The question-and-answer session is from 2-4 p.m. with the promoter and his wife, Elaine, as hosts.
The World Open Classic, which guarantees $129,130 in cash prizes, begins a 164-day run March 24 at La Habra "300" Bowl, a plush 32-lane center at 370 E. Whittier Blvd. near Cypress.
The tournament, now in its eighth year, features a 20-game singles event for men and women. There are 86 awards of $1,-000 each in men's event alone. The World Open Classic also schedules a five-game warmup singles, five-game doubles, three-game ragtime doubles, team events, all-events and mixed doubles.
Although the tournament runs through Labor Day, Kosof offers bonuses for "early bird" entries.
An award of $100 each goes to the top 20 finishers in the men's 20-game scratch if the bowlers roll their scores between March 24 and April 30.
Women "early bird" bowlers will receive $50 each for finishing in the top 10 in scratch singles or first five in handicap.
