ANGE County Women Volunteers March for Arthritis Fund
Sunday, Feb. 4 through Saturday, Feb. 10, more than 3000 women volunteers are the footsoldiers for the "Arthritis" door-to-door march. The neighborhood march will cover the area in support of the Southern California Chapter of The Arthritis and Anaism Foundation's annual raising campaign.
Chapter, the only health agency totally dedicated to the cause of arthritis, recently opened its Orange County office at 311 West 8th Street, Santa Ana.
Because of the substantial support given by residents of Orange County last year during the annual fund appeal, a grant of $1,500 was provided by the Southern California Chapter to the Orange County Society for Crippled Children and Adults. This grant is being used to aid the physical therapy program for arthritis patients, of all ages, who are enrolled here.
