Laguna Playhouse
Slates New Play
To wind up a brilliant ten week season of summer stock, the Playhouse at Laguna will present the marvelously talented husband and wife team, Cheryl Maxwell and Henry Beckman in Leslie Stevens' "Marriage-Go-Round," opening Tuesday, Aug. 29 for a seven-day run closing Labor Day.
Because of the long holiday weekend, the Playhouse producers have been asked to do a special performance on Monday evening, Sept. 4. So for this season's closer, there will be an 8:40 p.m. curtain Tuesday, Aug. 29 through Monday, with two performances on Saturday at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. For reservations, call HYatt 4-8061 or the Orange County Theatre Ticket Agency, KImberly 7-6777.

From our point the path for the new visitors and convention bureau is clear.
If it wants to handle advertising for the various tourists attractions here, let it bid on them in the manner in which is a part of our free enterprise system.
The taxpayer need not be brought into this. He has enough problems without being asked to finance an advertising program and to worry about the tourist.
