Tuition Scholarship Awards for JC Grads Announced by Chapman Chapman College will award annually a full-tuition academic scholarship to one student from the graduating class of Fullerton Junior College, Orange Coast College and Santa Ana College, it was announced this week. The first of these scholarships will be granted for the 1961-1962 school year. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the applicants' junior college transcripts, letters of recommendation from an official of the junior college and results of a test to be taken by the applicants on the Chapman campus. Friday, April 7 is the date for this year's test. After review of these materials, a selected number of applicants will be interviewed by a Chapman faculty committee prior to awarding of the three scholarships. The scholarships will be renewed for the senior year if the student maintains a "B" grade average. Additional information is available by contacting the Chapman College Admissions Office. SPENCER HEATH A series of lectures comprising a seminar on "Economics and the Spiritual Life of Free Men" will be presented at Chapman College by Spencer Heath, author of "Citadel, Market and Altar." The seminar will be held in three sessions on March 16 and 23 and April 6, with each session including two lectures followed by open discussion periods. A $6 fee will cover the cost of dinners served between the lectures. Attendance will be limited to a maximum of 60.
