HERE'S THE ROUTE. Participants in Saturday's Anaheim-Western High Schools Safety-Economy Run will follow the above route. Start and finish point is Mobil station at Euclid Ave. and Ball Rd. The 50 youthful drivers will loop through Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Corona del Mar, Laguna Beach, Irvine, El Toro, Modjeska and Santiago Canyons, Orange, Fullerton and back to Anaheim. Kenney of 1273 D Adele St. has been appointed manager of the Bank of America's branch in Agana, Guam. A former assistant manager of the Anaheim branch, Kenney has been an assistant vice president in the loan supervision department at the bank southern California headquarters in Los Angeles the last two years. He was assigned to the Anaheim branch from 1955 to 1958. Kenney joined the bank 2 years ago and has served in Los Angeles and Anaheim offices since then. Ronald Brandon, the auto club's Anaheim district manager, said the course selected "will give these students a chance to demonstrate their driving skill on city streets, mountain roads and freeways. And participants and observers will be reminded once again that the best drivers are also the most economical drivers." Trophies and awards will be presented to the winning drivers from each school and the sweepstakes trophy presented to the winning school at a luncheon in Western High's cafeteria immediately following the run. Chief steward for the event is Ralph B. Clark of the Southwest Anaheim Kluwanis Club. Assistant stewards are Kelly Pugh of Anaheim High and William B. Palmer, Bill Jones and Jack Sappington of Western High. Student chairmen are Kathy Henderson and Chuck Downing of Western High and Nancy Patterson of Anaheim High. The event is the first of its kind in Anaheim. Offering technical assistance as co-organizers at the auto club and Mobil Oil Assisting in staging the run are the California Highway Patrol and Anaheim Police Dept. Palm Final rites were held Tuesday in St. Boniface Catholic Church for Carl R. Palm, 59, of 618 Grafton Pl., Anaheim realtor who died last Saturday after a prolonged illness. Interment was in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. A resident here 42 years, Mr. Palm was associated with the Jackson Realty Company. He leaves hhis wife, Virginia; two sons, Robert and Richard; three brothers, Peter of Anaheim, John of Montana and Ambrose of Michigan; and five sisters, including Mrs. Otelia Bock of Santa Ana. Store Woolworth Store Noted Mental Health Leader Will Address Public Meeting Tuesday “Mental Health Services in California” will be the subject of an address by Dr. Daniel Blain, director of the State Department of Mental Hygiene, before members of the Orange County Association of Mental Health in the County Health Department Building, Santa Ana, next Tuesday evening. It will be the second of four meetings sponsored by the association, a citizens’ group dedicated to fight “the nation’s number one health problem, mental illness.” Dr. B. J.
