YOUNG REPUBLIC MEMBERSHIP DRIVE Anaheim Young Republicans will meet Saturday in the Disneyland Hotel at 8 p.m. for a membership drive party. Barbara Woody, of 1959 Harriet Ln., is spearheading the drive. "We urge all members to bring friends 40 years of age or over, to join our group as associate members," she said. James B. Keys, past president of the Orange County Young Republicans Club and now executive vice president of the California Young Republicans, will address the gathering. The new state president, Pete Ashen of San Francisco, also will speak. Board Studies Insurance for School Workers The health and welfare of Centralia School District employes was the major topic of discussion when the district board of trustees met recently to consider policies covering major medical expenditures. A large percentage of the employes has been covered with basic health and accident insurance, which is available to all. Cancellation by the carrier of the major medical portion led to the examination by the board of several plans available. Roger L. Sisson, data processing system expert and author of many scientific publications, has been named manager of Program Analysis, Technical Staff, of Ford Motor Company's Aeronutronic Division. New Beckman Post for Moore Appointment of Thomas G. Moore Jr. to the technical publications department of the Systems Divisions, Beckman Instruments, Inc., has been announced here by Frank J. Scheufele, division marketing manager. In his new post Moore will participate in the Anaheim-based division's publications, advertising and sales promotion programs, trade show schedules and other departmental activities.
