Hedden, 1301 Damon St., is participating with other personnel from the 2nd Engineer Amphibious Support Command in Exercise Seahorse, a joint Army-Marine amphibious training exercise at Camp Pendleton. The maneuvers will end tomorrow. Marine Pvt. Robert A. Hough, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Hough of 905 Winter St., is attending the Aviation Machinist's Mate School at the Naval Air Technical Training Center, Memphis, Tenn. Ray J. Grant, seaman, USN, of 1249 Hampstead St., serving at the Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado, took part in ceremonies last week marking the 19th anniversary of the Pacific Fleet Amphibious Force. Marine Pvt. Galen D. Fortin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey J. Fortin of 927 Magnolia Ave., has completed four weeks of combat training at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton. Fenton, aviation electronics technician airman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fenton of 716 N. Pine St., is now serving with Tactical Air Control Squadron 13 at the North Island Naval Air Station, San Diego. John A. Phillips, son of Mrs. Amelia Bates of 2019 S. Ninth St., is now serving with the Navy's Airborne Early Warning Barrier Squadron Pacific at Midway Island in the Pacific.
