O'GARRITY'S is a family restaurant about three months new. They specialize in pancakes, fried chicken and beef stew. The pancakes are prepared from their own private recipes (they spent months perfecting these) and are so light and tender. They also feature deep south fried chicken, and it's a delight to bite into. But O'GARRITY'S beef stew is a gourmet of stews and I mean this. Choice marinated beef in red wine, fresh vegetables. I am so pleased about this event, because they will be serving those magnificent entrees as one of my favorite restaurants and I mean, of course, THE BRANDING IRON. Char-broiled steaks cooked to perfection, in wine sauce, herbs, huge button mushrooms. Roasts, chateaubriand, a treat, it makes me hungry to think of it. They will serve another delight, also famous at THE BRANDING IRON, the steak and lobster combination. You will be served like royalty at THE LAMPLIGHTER and this will fast become the place. A salad and dessert bar is also one of their features. These friendly folks spent time in their planning of decor too and it shows. It's so pleasant to dine at O'GARRITY'S. Next weekend will be the opening of the fabulous LAMP-LIGHTER in La Habra. This is the opening that I have long looked forward to. THE LAMP-LIGHTER in the beautiful decor of Old English will feature the very best in eating out. This steak house will feature the same exceptional steaks as THE BRANDING IRON in Orange.
