School Enrollment Shows 16 Per Cent Gain For Orange County's schools showed a 16 per cent increase in school attendance this past year.
Anaheim has the most junior high school and high school students, while Garden Grove leads in the number of elementary school pupils to gain of 1,079 from the fore.

Anaheim registered 12,594 elementary school pupils to show a gain of 1,079 from the year before.
Every other elementary school in the county showed increases except Olinda. It kept the same 28 pupils. It closed down its pioneer school, built in 1906, when Carbon Canyon Dam got under construction. This will have a new location.

A six-mile "open" road race, a three-mile "high school" division road race and presentations of awards by one of America's lead-of 1960 summer track and field will feature the third in a seriesing track and field personalities meets at Orange Coast College.
