MIMI By Joan Imig A bright sun shone down on the Rue Du La Paix the day Mimi was born, hitting the swiftly-moving pencil as the design for the most beautiful blouse in all of Paris came into being. For days and days a little mindinette sewed in tiny, careful stitches, using the thinnest needles, until at last, Mimi was ready to be shown to the world. To the attractive visitor from Anaheim, California, Mimi was all the artistry Parisian fashions are known for throughout the world. It was love at first sight and within a few minutes after meeting, Mimi found herself lying in a box, wrapped in tissue paper, on her way to Anaheim. Mimi's American debut was a resounding success—she was admired everywhere she went, but the next day she began to worry. Her mistress had said that she must go to the cleaners! Mimi was very much afraid and when strange hands reached for her she fainted. However, it was not long before she recovered to find herself feeling wonderful—very clean and sparkling and on her way home from the very competent French Cleaners and Laundry of 605 E. Center Street, 2126 W. Lincoln, and 1007 N. Euclid, in Anaheim; and 8745 W. Garden Grove Blvd., in Garden Grove. The French Cleaners feature free pick-up and delivery. (Adv.)
