TABULATING TB SEAL ENVELOPES — Christmas came early for the Orange County Tuberculosis and Health Association as residents throughout the county this week began mailing in their contributions to the TB Christmas Seal Sale drive. Roles Awarded for 'Showoff' Comedy Robert Blaustone, Santa Ana College drama instructor, has assigned Betty Peck of Santa Ana and Ed Rice of Garden Grove the leading roles in the comedy, "The Showoff" by George Kelly, to be presented Jan. 14, 15 and 16. Other character parts have been assigned to Elizabeth Beal, Jeanne Tripp, Bill Peters, Pete Greilich and Bill Sims of Santa Ana; John Diegel, Garden Grove and Dennis Morgan, Tustin. Bob Ballew of Garden Grove has been named stage manager for the three-act comedy, which combines character, humor and human nature. Nurses Form Alumni Group The first professional nurses class at Fullerton Junior College, which graduated in September, met last week to organize an alumni association. Marge Nicholson Burr of Long Beach was elected president of the new group. Other officers are: Nellie Mullikin of Fullerton, vice-president; Jewel Craig Chambers of Santa Ana, corresponding secretary; Pegg Wadsworth of Ontario, recording secretary; Irene Naylor of Riverside, treasurer. Publicity chairmen are: Marge Burr, Judy Reagan and Nelle Mullikin. Mrs. Woods Named Begonia President Mrs. Horace Woods of 604 S. Helena St. was elected vice-president of the Orange County Begonia Society at a recent election of new officers at the Garden Grove Grange Hall. Also serving will be Mel Westerdahl, secretary; and Mrs. Mabel Ragel of Fullerton, treasurer. Installation will be held Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. at the Grange. Clarence Hall, national president of the Aberican Begonia Society, will come from Northridge to serve as installing officer.
