Quell Forest Fire
Helicopters dumping borax were first used Sunday Monday to help quell a ground in Carbon Canyon, six miles of Brea and ten miles Orange. According to J Scherman, long-time state f of Orange County) 400 acres burned over.

Talk on Norway
Fullerton Public Forum will present Hjordis Kittel Parker, known one of the leading film resturers in the Scandinavian countries at 3:30 p.m. Thursday evening. Dec. in Fullerton Union High School.
Mrs. Parker will speak on the subject "The New Norway" and will illustrate her talk with a color motion picture which she produced.
Final Forum program of 1959 will be presented on Dec. 10 with an illustrated lecture by David Paul on "Hawaii—Our Fiftieth State." All Fullerton Public Forums programs are sponsored by Fullerton Evening Junior College and are open to the public without charge.
Falls From Auto
Katherine Johnson, 24, of 411 Spadra Rd., Fullerton, was created at St. Jude's Hospital for burns, cuts and scratches to her feet, legs and elbows, when she fell from a moving automobile while enroute from Santa Ana to Glacentia. The woman was taken to the hospital by sheriff's deputies.
