"The primary purpose of the Child Center is to enable student majors in home economics, nursing education, and elementary education to observe the developmental activities of small children at play and at the same time instruct parents and care." He pointed out that in the students in child development and past these college students have made many field trips to county nursery schools to gain such experience.
Plans Call
Plans call for each mother to observe the children at play and participate in formal class sessions where mothers can discuss physical, social, emotional, and mental development. There is no tuition charge, but there is a $5 a semester charge per child for nutritional expenses.
