A6 - Anaheim Gazette (Anaheim Gazette, Oct. 8, 1959) Anaheim Resident Aids in Resolution Commending 'Ike' President Eisenhower and his Republican Administration were commended this week by the Orange County Republican Central Committee for "his courage and tenacity" in checking inflation and balancing the nation's fiscal budget in the face of overwhelming Democratic majorities in Congress bent on a deficit financed free-spending era for the federal government. Introduced by Coalson Morris, Republican County chairman and longtime leader of the Party from Anaheim, the resolution was dispatched to the White House along with encouragement for the President to continue to fight for fiscal responsibility when the second session of the 86th Congress re-convenes in January to consider a score more of spending bills authored by Democrats with an estimated five-year cost to the taxpayers of more than $1.4 billion. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE REPUBLICAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF ORANGE COUNTY, in regular meeting on Sep-Party in the first session of the President of the United States, Dwight D.
