Anaheim Gazette (Anaheim Gazette, Oct. 3, 1956) Anaheim Girls Win Spots on Marching Team Ten girls from Anaheim won spots in the elite Fullerton Junior College women's dance - march drill team, the Hornet Honeys, in tryouts held last week. The group, numbering 50 girls, performs for all home football game halftimes and marches in numerous parades in the southland. Each year the group, guided almost entirely by their own student officers design their own costumes and work out their own routines. Leading the group this year will be Eleanor Nlemrocks of Paramount, who serves as president, and Karen Lindstrom of An- Missile Man Speaks Resident Attends "Interplanetary Navigation and Navigational Hazard in Space" was discussed by Dr. Robert M. L. Baker, Jr., a senior scientist at Aeronutronic, a Division of Ford Motor Company, when he addressed the Santa Ana sub-section of the Institute of Radio Engineers, at a dinner meeting in Anaheim, at the Chrysler Training Center auditorium, 1111 N. Tennis Lessons Open at City Park Full tennis lessons for all interested adults are now in session by the Anaheim Recreation Department, at City Park. Prospective racketeers will be instructed in basic tennis with emphasis on fundamentals of serving, returning, court play and use of the racket. Kay Nelson, veteran instructor in the summer net programs, will be in charge each Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. Adults may register at City Park courts this morning.
