Flag Football To Begin Here
Flag Football, the latest innovation to Anaheim's expanding recreation program, will debut for all interested adults Oct. 12 according to Supervisor Leonard Roberts.
The new night grid leagues will feature seven-man teams and will utilize the "flag-pulling" method of making "tackles" with rules similar to touch football. Thus far no restrictions have been made regarding eligibility.
All games will be played under the lights at Lincoln Park with action scheduled for Monday and Wednesday nights.
