Exhibit Space Goes for Show
Almost half of the exhibit space in the huge Commercial Exhibits Bldg., Orange County Fairgrounds, already has been spoken for by potential exhibitors in the first annual Orange County Industrial Exposition, it was announced today by Harry I. Horn, chairman of the show.
The unique event, to be sponsored Oct. 14 through 18 by the Associated Chambers of Commerce of Orange County, will present a vivid picture of the county's rapid growth and industrial development, according to Horn.
George Cloouris who has produced the Orange County Home Show for five consecutive years is producer-manager of the industrial show. Colouris and his production staff claim county industry response to the invitation to participate in the event is encouraging.
It is apparent, claims Colouris, from the production staff's first few days in the field that the industrial exposition will showcase examples of virtually every kind of industry imaginable.
The exposition's staff, operating from headquarters at the Orange County Fairgrounds, is contacting local industry leaders as rapidly as possible, said Producer Colouris.
"We'll qualify the county's major industries for participation in Club Issues Coliseum Plan
Seating arrangements in the new Sports Arena and in Memorial Coliseum are depicted in a map issued this week by Anaheim Automobile Club of Southern California. The map is being made available to the public without charge.
Also shown on the map are streets and parking areas in the vicinity of these two attractions. Ticket booths, entrances, concession stands, offices, dressing rooms, and press, radio and television facilities are included.
Seating arrangements on the upper level at the sports Arena are permanent and are so shown, but main floor seating will vary with events. Typical basketball, boxing and ice rink plans are depicted.
"Since the Home Show and the coming Democratic Convention have created much public interest in the Sports Arena and its environs, we have decided to make these maps available to everyone requesting one," stated Thomas M. Smith, the Club's director of travel services.
