NOTICE IS REVERB GIVEN that sealed proposals will be received by the City of Anaheim at the office of the City Clerk up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. on the 16th day of July, 1958, and will be opened on said date at the hour of 1:00 o'clock P.M., in public, in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall, in the City of Anaheim, State of California, by the City Clerk and the city Engineer, for furnishing equipment and materials (except as otherwise specified) and all utilities and transportation, including power, fuel and water, performing all work necessary to furnish and install in a good and workable condition with the specifications on plans and drawings thereon on file in the office of the City Engineer or the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, use electrically driven deep well submersible type pumping unit, including equipment on the west side of Phoenix Avenue between Ortingthorpe Avenue and La Jolla Street, approximately 660 feet north of La Jolla Street, in the City of Anaheim, Work Order No. 1698, and shall be fabricated by the City Engineer and the result thereof reported for each type of workman needed to execute this contract. The hourly wage scale so appertained is: PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 1778 of the Labor Code, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has ascertaind the general prevailing rate of wages in the locality in which the work will be performed for each type of workman needed to execute this contract. If any bid submitted fails to specify a sub-contractor as aforeseen, the contractor submitting such bid(s) to perform work itself will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a labor and material bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price; said bonds to be secured from a surety or bonding company satisfactory to the City Council of the City of Anaheim and shall be approved by City Council or similar Type. The successful bidder will be required to continuously maintain adequate protection of all hired work and public liability insurance in an amount not less than $100,000.00 for injuries including accidental death of any one person; $300,000.00 on account of any one accident; and property damage insurance in an amount not less than $100,000.00 for injuries to any one person or $100,000.00 for any one accident; and property damage insurance in an amount of $100,000.00. Each bid shall be made out on a form to be obtained at the office of the Architects, 340 North Altadena Drive, Pasadena, California; shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check of Bid Bond for five per cent (5%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the order of the Board of Trustees of the Magnolia School District of Oranges County, California; shall be sealed in an envelope marked on the face of the envelope; will be held at a designated office and Board of Trustees before Monday, April 19, 1989 at 1:00 A.M.; at the District Superintendent's Office, 100 West Orange, Anaheim, California. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waits for informality in any bid submitted. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date set for the opening thereof. Date June 29, 1969
