Don't Let Thieves In on Your Vacation
A warning from the Anaheim Police Department this week is if you are going on vacation, don't let the thieves of the region in on the secret.
Police Chief Mark Stephenson reminded that sometimes housebreakers look for obvious signs of the empty house:
The overgrown lawn, the stack of furled newspapers, the drawn shades, the growing collection of milk bottles, the miscellaneous collection of junk that collects in front of the house.
He suggests all residents going on vacations make arrangements with neighbors to take care of these items.

Sites are on a line one half mile apart. Arval Morris, trustee, pointed out that schools established in either of the proposed spots would help take pressure off Roosevelt schools.
Schools Seek New 10-Acre Purchase
The Anaheim City School District has approved sending the city a letter committing the district to purchase of all or part of a 10-acre site north of Crone
