Earliest church steeples date back to 350 when Sumerians erected "Ziggurats"—mountains—as homes for their gods.
The familiar steepele of the Notre Dame in Paris is an unsurpassed achievement of early Gothic architecture. Though its cornerstone was laid in 1163, it wasn't completed until 1230—67 years later.
Many church steeples are made of stainless steel, popped by 20th Century makers, this handsome combines the technical prowess with the digitally beautiful of the past.

"She said that many cancers are curable if detected early and treated promptly, and that every adult in our family should have a health checkup every year... no matter how well we may feel. She left me a pamphlet listing cancer's seven danger signals which I got around to reading a few days later. I was startled to see that a symptom I'd been ignoring... hoping it would 'go away'... was on that list! The pamphlet said 'If your signal lasts longer than two weeks, go to your doctor to learn if it means cancer.'"
"You can bet I did just that! My doctor found I did have cancer and I had my operation a week later."
"My doctor says I owe my life to the fact that I came to him in time. But I'll always feel I owe my life to a stranger."
