Owens, an Anaheim resident for 15 years, died early Friday morning at the family home, 713 N. Sabina Street, after a prolonged illness. She was born in Arkansas 65 years ago. She is survived by her husband, James A. Owens; six sons and five daughters, the following residing in this area: Emmett G. Jordan of Placentia, Mrs. Mildred Huss of Anaheim, Mrs. Helen O. Baert of Fullerton and Mrs. Gwen G. Teague of Artesia; also four brothers and three sisters in the east; 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at Hilgenfeld Chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Chester J. Padgett, pastor of the Placentia Calvary Church, officiated with burial in the family plot in the Gentry, Ark., Memorial Park. Mrs. A. C. Rodabaugh of Buena Park, has announced classes in hypnotism to begin Thursday, tonight at 8 p.m. These meetings will be held at her home at 7821 Court Street, Maid Arthur L.
