Fowler, son of Mr. and John S. Fowler, 318 MelSt. Anaheim, recently parsed in a field training exercise with the 3d Armored Division Germany. A cook with any B of the division's 45th red Medical Battalion, SpeFowler entered the Army 2 and arrived in Europe in 1956. The 23-year-old solder is a graduate of Anaheim High School. Specialist Third Class James Sothorn, son of Mrs. Lucille each, 11122 Wakefield, Analis a member of the 2nd ArDivision in Germany. A erman in Headquarters and Service Company of the division's 12nd Infantry Battalion, Specialist Scothorn entered the Army in September 1954. He completed basic training at Fort Ord and arrived in Europe last month. Pvt. Robert Avila, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Avila, 792 Moline St. Anaheim, recently completed the eight-week armament mainterance course at The Ordnance School, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. Avila entered the Army last September and received basic training at Fort Lewis, Wash. Easy Supper 2 packages frozen cooked squash 1 package frozen peas 2 cups thin carrot strips 2 tablespoons margarine 2 tablespoons brown sugar Salt. Pepper 1 cup melted margarine 1 pound pork Tank sausage Defrost squash in top of double boiler. Cook peas and carrots separately in boiling water with 1/4 te spoon salt for each. While vegetables cook, broil or fry sausages over gentle heat. When squash is hot, beat in brown sugar and 2 tablespoons margarine. Drain peas and carrots. Pour one-fourth cup melted margarine over peas and carrots, tossing lightly with fork. On hot serving plate arrange squash in circle. Pile margarined carrots in center of plate. Pile peas around carrots, just inside ring of squash. Arrange broiled sauages around edge of plate and serve at once (16 servings).
