Viewers will see typical experiments being conducted for the benefit of various GM divisions, GM's "free piston" engine car "XP-500", and exterior and interior views of the center which won architectural awards even before it was complete. Following Mr. Cronkite's narrative tour, Harlow H. Curtice, president of General Motors, will deliver a major address. Other GM speakers will be Dr. Lawrence R. Hefstedt, vice president in charge leading food chains in the west. The convention at Coronado this year had as its theme "Future Unlimited" and dealt primarily with the many new developments now being introduced to provide greater service and convenience for food shoppers in the nation's chain food stores.
