The Ball itself, open to the public with tickets available through the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce at $1.25, will be held at Sunny Hills Recreation Center and will feature such nationally known entertainers as the Pied Piper and Hal Thomas' 12-piece orchestra. But more about Dorothy—she's married to Joe, also of Northrop, works in aircraft assembly (Joe's in opties) and is mother of three tykes name of Sandra 3; Lauren 6; and Danny 4. Mrs. Witzel is only one of several lovely candidates—each chosen by personnel of their respective companies or city of Anaheim departments in competition for the queenship. While awaiting the outcome, each lady is occupied—all the way—in expressing both ardently and effectively interest and confidence in Anaheim area industrial progress. Kwikset Employees Fashion Show The models, and the glamorous and fashionable clothing they will display, have been selected for the fashion show to be presented by employees of Kwikset Locks, Inc., at the Anaheim Ebell Clubhouse, May 13, it was announced today by Marjorie Christensen, general chairman of the event. The show, which will be free to the general public, is a part of Anaheim's 'Industrial Open House' day, May 13. The fashion show will begin at 8 p.m., in the clubhouse at 244 N. Helena, S.Q.R. store fashions will be featured. The garments will range from swim suits to expensive furs. Models will include Verna Benbrooks, Nancy Lee Bender, Marjorie Boyd, Oneida Copeland, Myrtle Crain, Elizabeth DeMenezes, Hazel Easton, Julie Evans, Carmen Gonzales, Faye Guilford, Phyllis Harrison, Coleen Marshall, Wilma Noble, Shirley Simpson, and Clara Wittersheim. Children's fashions also will be displayed. The mechanized dock hose utilizes an hydraulic system powered by an electric motor. Another Chiksan product shown to many for the first time was the Intelli-Giant—a spectacular hydraulic monitor operated by water pressure from remote controls. In addition to these products, other recently designed and developed Chiksan swivel joints were introduced. During the three-day session, each of Chiksan Departments made presentations designed to provide the sales force with new appreciation for the complex workings of a growing organization. Part of the session was devoted to training of new sales techniques. With a number of films shown. The meetings were conducted by R. T. Jones, Western Regional Sales Manager, and L. J. Smith, Eastern Regional Sales Manager. MRS. JAMISON NAMED MARYWOOD AUX. LEADER Mrs. Ursula M. Jamison has been named to lead the Marywood Auxiliary for the coming year. She will be assisted by Mrs. William H. Stehly as vice-president; Mrs. Edwin Wingate of Orange secretary; and Mrs. William H. Ross of Orange, treasurer. Mrs. John A. Larson, a past president of the auxiliary, will install these officers on May 10.
