The undersigned do hereby certify that they are conducting a citrus hauling and citrus processing business at 308 East Commercial Street, Anahiem, California, under the fictitious firm name of MARY GILLISPIE, Harold Roper, Wed In St. Boniface.
Wearing the new long torso look in wedding gowns, Miss Mary Arlene Gillispie was lovely in satin and lace as she exchanged marriage vows with Harold Roper in St. Miss Gillispie was given in Anthony Duval officiated.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gillispie of 302 N. Flower St., Miss Gillispie was given in marriage by her father. Her mother designed her wedding gown. The veil was elbow length and fell from a satin crown. She carried a bouquet of carnations and orchids.
She was attended by her sisters, maid of honor, Miss Ruth Gillispie, and bridesmaid, Kathleen. Miss Joan Des Roches of Glendale was also a bridal attendant.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Roper of Chickasha, Okla., chose Melvin Carnes as best man. Guests were seated by Gerald Leikhus, an uncle of the bride, and Bob Underwood.
Miss Imogene Larson was soloist and Mrs. A. F. Faust was at the organ.
The Gillispie home was decorated in bridal white for the reception which followed. The new Mr. and Mrs. Roper made the first cut in a three-tiered wedding cake which was decorated with fresh orange blossoms.
Assisting with serving were the bride's sister, Miss Lorraine Gillispie and Miss Mary Jean Bushman, and Miss Rosalyn Daigenault. Mrs. Denis Cushing presided at the guest book.
The couple will live near St. Vincent's hospital while the bride is taking nurses training and will Geo. N. Peck, Father Of Local Man, Passer
George Nelson Peck, father of Glen A. Peck of this city, passed away early Wednesday morning at his home at 918 So. Parton Santa Ana. He was 84 years old and had resided in Laguna Beach for 22 years before moving to Santa Ana.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, Glenn of Anaheim and Henry T. Peck of Laguna Beach, and one daughter, Mrs. Rellance Godard of Corona de Mar.
Funeral services will be conducted from McCormick Chapel in Fullerton by the Rev. Dallas Turner, pastor of Community Presbyterian church of Laguna Beach. Interment will be in Fairhaven cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Tussey of 1422 Beacon Ave., Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Rios of 7781 Placentia Ave., and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gonzales of 10882 Harcourt St., we welcomed baby boys on April 6. On that same day, little girls were born to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hassler of 735 Hawthorne St., and Mr. and Mrs. John C. Shultz of 1130 Lombard Drive.
Mrs. Roger Harlow (Gwen Ahstrom) was guest of honor at layette shower recently at the home of Mrs. Harold Svenson, 50 S. Indiana street.

Oklahoma Dies Visiting Relatives
Anna Belle Lowery, 76, a resident of Henryetta, Okla., who had been visiting relatives in Southern California for three and one-half months, was taken seriously last Thursday morning at the home of a niece at 10501 Katella ave. She was rushed to the Santa Ana Community hospital where death occurred later that afternoon.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. W. H. Moore of Anaheim and a niece in Anaheim, Mrs. M. J. Bragg. Funeral arrangements were made by the Hilgenfeld mortuary and services were held in Henryetta, Okla., burial following in the family plot in Oaklawn cemetery there.
A marriage license has been issued to an Anaheim couple, Daniel Salagts of 202 E. Broadway and Myra Lou Gunter of 836 S. Philadelphia street.

Colburn-Morgan Wedding in Yuma
Miss Charmaine D. Colburn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Colburn of Anaheim, was married in Yuma, Arizona, to Edward L. Morgan, Airman Second Class of the U.S. Air Force and son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Morgan of Orange. The parents attended the simple nuptial rites.
The bride was attired in a Lilli Diamond original, designed as a sheath with matching coat. A yellow orchid was worn at the shoulder.
The new Mrs. Morgan is a member of the Orange Assembly, Order of the Rainbow for Girls, and is Girls' League representative at Anaheim Union High school. Her husband is stationed at George Air Force Base, Victorville. They plan to live in San Bernardino when school is out in June.
Parents of Western Junior High school students are reminded of the P-TA meeting at 7:30 tonight (Thursday) in the cafetorium.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry N. Nelson, 901 Grafton Pl., attended the annual meeting of the Plastics Industry Society at the El Mirador Hotel, Palm Springs, last week and then went to Mexico for a short holiday. They returned home on Monday.
