Criss Business College of Anaheim, Rated as ‘Tops’ In Training for Future The Criss Business College opened its doors in Anaheim, in January 1949, with its present director, Mrs Agnes Francis Criss. Mrs. Criss could forsee the need of a good business college in northern Orange County. She knew full well the contribution that a private business college could make in any community where it functions not only as a service institution but is also an economic and civic asset. Its purpose is to serve not only young people, but all those who need definite, specific and specialized training for fixed responsibilities through intensive programs. Since there must be a market for a business college’s products (its students), it must make a constant study communities it serves. The founder and director of Criss Business College was well equipped to establish and operate a modern, up-to-date college. Her previous twenty-five years of successful teaching and executive work enables her to screen and counsel efficiently with students of all ages and background, since she has taught in the secondary schools, business colleges, army schools, and held several outstanding executive positions. The Alumni of the college meets monthly and is a good expression of what has been accomplished in the training program afforded to the community by this institution. The College is affiliated with the California Council of Business Schools, of which Mrs. Criss is a member of the Advisory Board; is also affiliated with the National Association and Council of Business Schools. Burton Road, recently following an extended vacation trip to the eastern states.
