COMING EVENTS
Anaheim School Graduates of Bethel Baptist church will be honored at a special banquet to be given Thursday evening, June 10, in the church.
The 30th annual June Drill will be held by St. Catherine's Academy on Saturday, June 12, beginning at 6:30 p.m., on the parade grounds.
Members of the A.B Paul Women's Relief Corps are reminded that the next regular meeting of the Corps will be held on June 15 at the I.O.O.F. hall. The social club will meet on June 22 at 1066 La Mesa Drive, when Mary Mitchell will entertain at the Sunny Hills home of her son, Lawrence Mitchell.
A June dance for Elks members and their guests begin at 9 o'clock on Saturday evening at the Elks club, Jun.
A special Children's Day vice will be held in the Sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church Sunday, June 13, at 7 p.m.

Nancy Ann Seekins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Seekins of 118 S. Palm street, will wed Richard Terry of Orange on Saturday, June 12.
The Anaheim Altrusa club will hold installation ceremonies on Monday night, June 14, at a dinner meeting to be held at the Greenbrier Inn, Garden Grove.
The Anaheim 20-30 Anns will hold a patio supper on Tuesday, June 15, at the home of Mrs. Paul Bruce, 1004 Vinyard street.
The Rev. John Kimball Saville has announced the schedule for Episcopal summer camps as follows: Camp Stevens Senior Camp, June 20-30; August 29 - Sept. 8. Intermediate, July 1-10; July 11-21. Junior, August 8-13, 14-21.
The Women's Auxiliary of St. Michael's Episcopal church will meet on Monday, June 14, in the Parish hall. Dean Douglas Stuart will speak on "Church Color and Calendar."
The Junior Choir of St. Michael's Episcopal church will rehearse on Friday, June 18, and will follow rehearsal with a picnic at the La Palma Youth Center.
ADVANCED IN RATING
It's an advancement in rate to seaman, USN, for George Spaulding, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Spalding of 300 N. Placentia Ave., Anaheim, Calif., while serving aboard the battleship USS Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin has returned after six months in the Far East as flagship for the Commander Seventh Fleet.
