South-of-the border decor pointed up the Spanish theme which was further carried out with music and dances. The Tozier 50-piece band from La Jolla and Yorba Linda schools presented a half-hour of music and dancing. This was followed by a take-off on the Andrews sisters by Jerry Stehly, August Heybrook and Clarence Mauerhan. An accordian solo was given by Samuel Florez of Santa Ana, and Lydia Campos interpreted a series of Spanish dances. Taking part in a pantomime entitled "Love Was Conquered," were Jesse Anderson, Howard Pannier, Ralph Mauerhan, Herman Freese, Don Pannier, August Heybrook, and Mrs. C. J. Mauerhan. Mrs. Jesse Anderson was chairman of the dinner committee, assisted by Ralph Mauerhan, LeRoy Ater and Earl Zahl.
