Farm Bureau Ladies' Night
It was ladies night for the Anaheim Farm Bureau when the meeting was held on Saturday, (March 13) in the Anaheim High school auditorium, following dinner in the cafeteria. South-of-the border decor pointed up the Spanish theme which was further carried out with music and dances.
The Tozier 50-piece band from La Jolla and Yorba Linda schools presented a half-hour of music and dancing. This was followed by a take-off on the Andrews sisters by Jerry Stehly, August Heybrook and Clarence Mauerhan. An accordian solo was given by Samuel Florez of Santa Ana, and Lydia Campos interpreted a series of Spanish dances.
Taking part in a pantomime entitled "Love Was Conquered," were Jesse Anderson, Howard Pannier, Ralph Mauerhan, Herman Freese, Don Pannier, August Heybrook, and Mrs. C. J. Mauerhan.
Mrs. Jesse Anderson was chairman of the dinner committee, assisted by Ralph Mauerhan, LeRoy Ater and Earl Zahl. Dressed as Spanish waiters were members of the dining room committee, Al-
