District Chairman Speaks to B&PW "Are you happy in your chosen field?" was the question asked members of the Business and Professional Womens' club by Della Francone at a meeting last week at the Mother Colony restaurant. Mrs. Francone, San Orco district chairman of the education and vocations committee, said that maturity is not a stage of age but a stage of consciousness and urged mature business women to set definite goals for themselves, decide where they are going, and to check past accomplishments at regular intervals. The speaker was introduced by Ida Mae Valburg, local education and vocations committee chairman. Eva Gooden, club president, presided. Group singing was led by Josephine Fulfer. An account of the recent ceremony in which the new B & PW club in San Clemente was chartered was given by two members who attended, Josephine Fulfer and Eva Drennan; San Orco district treasurer, Addie Bell Hunt gave details of the current Red Cross Drive. Tickets for the spring fashion show to be sponsored on March 25 by the Retail Division of the Chamber of Commerce were distributed to members.
