Richard Snyder at Fort Bragg Base Army Pvt. Richard Snyder, 20, son of M. D. Snyder, 7912 Santa Catalina, Anaheim, Calif., left Ft. Devens, Mass., recently enroute to Fort Bragg, N. C., to participate in Exercise Flash Burn. Snyder is a pole lineman in Company D of the 25th Signal Construction Battalion, normally stationed at Fort Devens, which will provide telephone and teletype wire lines for units taking part in training maneuvers. Medical Auxiliary Benefit Luncheon The Orange County Medical Auxiliary presented its annual benefit luncheon and fashion show preceded by a bazaar and apron sale recently at the Balboa Bay Club. Proceeds went toward the annual nurses' scholarship sponsored by the Auxiliary, according to Mrs. John Wilcox, of Anaheim, a member of the benefit committee. Zimmerman Heads Co. Peace Officers The new president of the Orange County Peace Officers' Association is Ernie Zimmerman, a California Highway patrolman from Orange, and formerly from Santa Ana department.
