Music Students Scholarships Two music scholarships of $750 each will be offered next year announces the California Congress of Parent-Teachers, Inc., to women doing graduate study in music with emphasis on vocal instruction and choral directing in the public schools. These will be known as the Nancy Pauline Turner Music Scholarships and have been given in memory of the beloved mother-singer director who last spring met a tragic death in an airplane accident. Money for these scholarships has been collected by admirers of Mrs. Turner in her home area of Oakland and by mothersinger groups throughout the state with a subsidy from the California Congress Honorary Life Membership Fund. One of these scholarships will be offered in the northern part of the state and another in the southern part. Ana.
