Marilou Heavrin to Become Mrs. John F. Kirsch Jr. on Saturday Marilou Marsha Heavrin will become the bride of John F. Kirsch Jr., on Saturday in a nuptial mass scheduled for 10 am. in St. Pius V Catholic church of Buena Park. The Rev. Father Frederick J. Kass will officiate. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ignatius Heavrin of 7601 E. 5th st., Buena Park, and will be given in marriage by her father. The bridegroom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Kirsch Sr., of 14182 South st., in Anaheim. Miss Heavrin has chosen a wedding gown of Chantilly lace with a full skirt of white nylon net over satin. It will have a short train. She will carry a bouquet of orchids and setphanotis. In a setting of white gladioli, and white ribboned pews, organist Mrs. Thomas Kasper will provide background music, and Mrs. Lawrence Smith will sing "Ave Maria," "On This Day," "Panis Angelicus" and "Our Lady of Providence." Miss Heavrin will be attended by matron of honor, Mrs. R. L. Grizzle of Chino, who will wear an ice yellow gown of nylon net over taffeta. Matching gowns in pastel colors will be worn by the bridesmaids who will be the following: Miss Gall Marie Nolan of Orange, Mrs. C. L. Heavrin of Anaheim, Mrs. R. Kampling (sister of the groom) and Miss Leona King of Buena Park. They will carry sprays of white gladioli. Flower girls will be Kathleen MISS MARILOU HEAVRIN (To Wed Saturday) taffeta. A cousin of the groom-elect, Raymond Heinz, is to be best man. Ushers are to be Tom Stehley, Jim Larson, Jim Erickson and Lindy Heavrin, all of Anaheim. Three hundred guests have been invited to attend the wedding reception to be held in the Buena Park Women's club following the ceremony. The couple have planned a honeymoon trip to Oregon. Miss Heavrin is a graduate of Marywood High school and Fullerton Junior college where she was a member of Theta Nu Thee. NELDA Schumacher And Fiance Feted At 'Island' Party Miss Nelda Schumacher and her fiance, Phillip Quarre, were honored recently at a cocktail party and buffet given by Miss Audrey Lorton and Mrs. Willard Monteith. The party was held in the home of Miss Lorton's parents, and following the Hawaiian theme, the Lorton home was festooned with native greenery and leaves of the islands. Soft Hawaiian music played in the background. As Miss Schumacher was greeted by the hostesses, a lei of white carnations was put around her neck. The guests, who had all been invited to "go Hawaiian" for the occasion, and who arrived in island garb, were: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Guild II, Mr. and Mrs. Jay L. EXPERT WATCH REPAIRING Alamitos Missionary Society Fetes Pastor on Anniversary of Birthday The lovely new home of the Rev. and Mrs. Paul Younger, Alamitos Friends church, who live at 9215 W. Garden Grove blvd., was the setting for a patio party on Thursday. The Women's Missionary society of the church gave a covered dish noonday dinner for members and their husbands. In honor of Pastor T. Eugene Coffin's birthday, he was presented with a fancy birthday cake with lighted candles and was serenaded in song. Mrs. Winifred Shackelford presided at the business meeting which followed the meal. The Rev. Younger gave devotionals and chose as his subject, "The Value of Sincere Prayer." Mrs. Eugene Coffin, Mrs. Hallie Goodsteed and Mrs. Bessie S Feack gave reports on the Friends yearly meeting which they attended in Whittier. In memory of a friend who died recently, approval was given for a cash donation to be sent a missionary toward the purchase of a bicycle. Family Dinner Party Given by Sam Hilgenfelds Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hilgenfeld of 120 E. Broadway gave a dinner party on Sunday for eighteen members of their family in honor of their niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Jud Linscott and their son, Jerry, of Fall City, Nebraska. Mr. and Mrs. Linscott are visiting their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Farrar of Santa Ana while their other son, Don, is participating in the Boy Scout Jamboree. Dickel street, exchanged marriage vows with Willie Hudson of 8142 Moraga ave., on Sunday evening in St. Michael's Episcopal church. The Rev. John Kimball Saville officiated before an altar decorated with pale pink gladioli and baskets of pink carnations. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Miles Sangster of Anaheim and was given in marriage by her father. She wore a floor-length gown of white satin and nylon net. The full skirt was flecked with gold. Her veil fell from a tiara fashioned of sheer net and tiny seed pearls. She carried a nosegay of orchids and orange blossoms arranged on a white Bible. For the beautiful but simple ceremony, Miss Sangster chose only one attendant. Her sister, Sandy Sangster, was maid of honor and wore a lovely gown of aqua blue taffeta and nylon net. Her bouquet was of pink carnations. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Wear of Anaheim, and was attended by Scottile Lambert as best man. Usher were the bride's uncle, Hugh Artmayer, and Hugh Miller, a close friend of the bridegroom. Organist Hazel Erickson played the wedding music and accompanied soloist William Fackiner who sang "Because," and "The Lord's Prayer." Following the nuptial ceremony, a reception for 100 guests was held in the parish hall. The newly married couple will be away for a week and then will make a temporary home with the bride's parents. The bridegroom is in the Navy Air Force photography service and is stationed at El Centro. He is a graduate of Fullerton High school.
