Drivers Unhurt in Local Accidents Two accidents in Anaheim Saturday produced damage to the automobiles involved, but left their drivers unhurt. Cars driven by Nina M. Bertrick, 211 Mills dr., and an unidentified person collided at Mills dr. and Los Angeles st., at 10:30 p.m. Neither John Van Houten, Long Beach, nor Jerrold V. Henning, 15652 E. North St., Anaheim, were hurt when their cars collided at Chartres and Claudina sts. at 3:18 p.m. Hit-Run Driver Makes Escape Robert E. Schafer, a marine from El Toro marine base, failed to catch the hit-run driver who smashed his rear fender at the corner of Anaheim-Olive rd. and Placentia ave. at 10:53 p.m. Saturday. Schafer had just pulled up to Anaheim-Olive rd. on Placentia ave. when the hit-run car rounded the corner and collided with Schafer's car. Schafer pursued the other car south on Placentia ave., but lost him.
