Five Anaheimers To be Awarded Whittier Degrees Five Anaheim residents will be candidates for academic degrees in Whitty college commencement exercises next Saturday afternoon, the Southland college's 49th annual. Candidates for the bachelor of arts degree as of June this year ate Florence Elsie Littrell, 121 MacArthur Manor; Theodora Louise Payne, 419 S. Indiana and Helen Harpham Riesferer, 201 N. Emily, Anaheim. Two other persons from Anaheim will receive the bachelors degree as of August, 1951. They are B. Barton Beach, 10582 Broadway and Lucia Upp, 303 N. Philadelphia. Exercises will take place at 4:30 Saturday in the Harris Amphi-theatre on campus. Dr. Harold H. Fisher, chairman of the Hoover Institute and Library at Stanford University, will deliver the address. Sutter, 46, will be arraigned next Tuesday on a murder charge in the shooting of Samuel Davis, 53, wealthy motel owner at Desert Hot Springs. Suter was indicted yesterday by the county grand jury; he said he was without funds and public defender Maurice Sherrill was named to represent him. Davis' body was found in the trunk of his car in Newport Beach May 29.
