(Les) Bullieu, secretary-treasurer of the firm. (Gazette photo by Bradley) John Steffy Arrives in Anaheim To Take Reins of Hellyer Buick New owner of the former K. F. Hellyer Buick agency on S. Los Angeles st., Anaheim, is John A. Steffy, who resigned from a job with General Motors Corp., in Detroit to take the Anaheim dealership. A native of Maryland, Steffy has accumulated 30 years of service in the automotive field, all of it but a few years with GMC. He had been working as a field observer for Buick in Detroit. At present he and his wife are living in Whittler until they can find a suitable home in Anaheim. The Steffy's have three sons, Robert, Donald and Richard, none of whom live with their parents. Robert and Richard are in service, Robert an Air Force major stationed in Arizona. He has two children; Richard went into the service just recently. Donald just graduated from the University of Detroit's school of law. The others are also graduates of Detroit. Steffy says he intends to keep all of the Hellyer organization at the agency. "It is a fine organization and I see no reason for changing it," he said. "Furthermore, I intend to continue Hellyer's operating policies as far as I know now." The Buick agency in Anaheim is Steffy's first adventure into an automotive dealership. His other retail experience has been managerial, he said.
