Tax Department May Indict Cohen LOS ANGELES (P) — Mickey Cohen, already fighting a running war with Texas and Arizona, today was told he may expect a decision on his home battleground within 10 days. U.S. Attorney Ernest A. Tolin said a federal grand jury will be asked to vote then on whether the stocky gambler and possibly his wife should be indicted on income tax evasion charges. Cohen has said he expects to be indicted because the "word is out to 'get Mickey Cohen'."
