WT to Observe Lincoln Sunday Lincoln Sunday will be observed as "Race Relations Day" in all Methodist churches. White Temple locally will be informed on the subject of Negro education at both evening and morning services. "One Foot In the Door" will be the title of Rev. Frank E. Butterworth's talk at 10:15 a.m. The talk will be a general summary of the gains made by minority groups in recent years. A special offering will be asked for the support of Sam Huston college for Negroes in Austin, Texas, which is supported by the Methodist churches of the Southern California-Arizona annual conference. Leohard Holt, a brilliant young Negro pre-ministerial student from the University of Rodlands, will speak on "Solving Our Problems," at 7 p.m. He has worked his way from the slums of Chicago. Following this there was an exhibition of some of the work done in the shop classes. The last part of the entertainment was a volleyball game between the fathers and the sons. The fathers won. Principal of all the elementary schools of Orange county will have a meeting at Fremont school, Saturday, Feb. 17. Today the high school band gave their annual concert for the Fremont students. The following girls were chosen for the newly formed Multiple Trio: Lois Sevint, Cherrie Goff, Dickie Heffern, Sherryl David, Elmo Richards, Dorothy Thomas, Mary Lynn Head, Marilyn Richards, Zoe Fort, Jan Critchfield, Gloria Taylor and Glenda Smith.
