Residents directly adjacent to the camp on Vermont ave., reported cases of trespassing, noise, and, as one termed it, "indiscretions." Farther away from the camp, residents admitted not having seen any oturight transgressions, but voiced definite objection to "constant presence" of the workers passing to and from town. Parents interviewed, basing their statements on reported transgressions, objected to the presence of the workers on the grounds that they constitute a menace to children. George Graham, manager of Citrus Growers, Inc., indicated last night that the organization had not changed its plans regarding the land use application. "The application still stands," he said. "We are asking permission to erect storage warehouse facilities on the campsite and at the same time we are looking forward to any possible emergency which might require the addition of more workers." Graham added that there was no immediate prospect of additional workers but that the corporation wanted to be ready to house them in the event a situation demanded it. He was rushed to Fullerton General hospital by fellow workers and is not expected to be released until September 6.
