They were officially granted their charter on November 16, 1849, with the definite assurance that they were not an auxiliary to the Izaak Walton League, although they attend the same district and state meetings and most of their husbands are members of the men's organization. At present they are sponsoring a Girl Scout troop and a rifle team and hope in the near future to take on several more projects. Anything that will further conservation is open to their interests, for instance seeing that schools have better equipment to conserve their natural resources. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Martin of 1440 East Center have generously offered their home as a permanent meeting place for the group until they outgrow the provided space, and it is in this setting that Mrs. Archie Henry, Jr., president, calls the meeting to order the third Tuesday of every month. Vice-presidents are Mrs. Wayne Held and Mrs. Dorothy Hunt. Mrs. Sam Leoard is secretary and Mrs. Clint Flynn the treasurer. Publicity is handled by Mrs. William Wick who is also one of the directors, the others being Mrs. June Daly. Delegate at large is Mrs. Nick Wingert and parliamentarian, Mrs. L. N. Wisser. CATFISH AND BASS CAUGHT Roy Mabee, Quincy and Dorothy Hunt have recently returned from a fishing expedition to Lake Mead and Pierce's Ferry. They brought home catches of large catfish and a few good-sized bass, the largest of which was 5½ pounds. Anaheim Gazette, Thursday, April 6, 1950 LEGAL NOTICES Harbin, F. L. .49 Harlan, R.
