Father Hubbard will present his colored motion picture, "Alaska by Auto and Alcan Highway," depicting a motor tour from California to Anchorage. This is the first color film of north polar regions ever viewed by the public.
Father Hubbard is considered the world's foremost authority on the far north and includes in his lecture the areas where the U. S. Army Air Force plans to establish a base next summer.
"If admitted to the Union as a full-fledged state, Alaska will automatically become the largest state in our nation ... and Texans dislike that idea," said Father Hubbard. "Alaska will also be allowed two senators ... just the same as the states of New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois ... and these states dislike equal senatorial rights."
"Alaska has a population of less than 100,000, consequently no large cities, but it has untold wealth in undeveloped coal, oil,

full-fledged state, Alaska will automatically become the largest state in our nation ... and Texans dislike that idea," said Father Hubbard. "Alaska will also be allowed two senators ... just the same as the states of New York, Pennsylvania and Illinois ... and these states dislike equal senatorial rights.
"Alaska has a population of less than 100,000, consequently no large cities, but it has untold wealth in undeveloped coal, oil, gold and timber, natural resources that should attract many thousands of pioneers who would migrate to Alaska if private ownership could be accentuated by economic freedom made possible through statehood," continued Hubbard.
Population Could Double
"It is amazing how many people think they will have great opportunities when Alaska is a state, and it is entirely possible that the population would double following statehood. Alaska has much more to give the United States in the matter of natural resources than the United States can give Alaska in the matter of political advantages."
The lecture is being sponsored by the following Anaheim men; Bernard Flynn, Warren Ashleigh, Dr. E. E. Cain, Tom Eadington, Ernest Ganahl; Oscar W. Heying, Joseph D. Huarte, Ted Kuchel, Dr. E. H. CHRISTIAN SCIENCE
The Sunday Lesson-Sermon topic in all branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, is "Substance." The Golden Text is from Ecclesiastes: "I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it."
In John's Gospel, it is recorded that Jesus said: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glo-rified in the Son. . . If ye love me, keep my commandments."
Mary Baker Eddy writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures:" "Every day makes its demands upon us for higher proofs rather than professions of Christian power. These proofs consist solely in the destruction of sin, sickness, and death by the power of Spirit, as Jesus destroyed them."
