San Francisco—The end of California's summer trout fishing season comes one hour after sunset, October 31, for an estimated half-a-million anglers, says the Division of Fish and Game.
Increased numbers of sportsmen and record plantings of catchable-sized fish are expected to account for an annual catch exceeding last year's state-wide take of more than 17,000,000 trout, according to the Bureau of Fish Conservation.
