11:00 a.m.-
"Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation." Jeremiah's declaration from Lamentations will be the Golden Text of the Sunday Lesson-Sermon on "Reality" in all branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston.
According to John's Gospel, when the disciples saw a man blind from birth, they asked Jesus, "Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man shined, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, ... He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing."
In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mary Baker Eddy says, "Jesus of Nazareth was the most scientific man that ever trod the globe. He plunged beneath the material surface of things, and found the spiritual cause." "Mortals are unacquainted with the reality of existence, because matter and mortality do not reflect the facts of Spirit."
Forgotten' Bank Accounts Total 128,146 Dollars
Sacramento, (WNS)—California residents "lost" $128,146,63 last year, according to State Controller Thomas H. Kuchel.
This sum represented the amount the controller received for deposit in the state treasury from banks, building and loan association, and other financial organizations operating in the state.
The moneys, Kuchel said, were from abandoned accounts, the depositors in which went off and left them.
The state has an abandoned property act; which permits the financial institution to report them after a period of 20 years.
More than 100 different financial problem is serious because the first strong desert wind leaves will probably droplet this trouble.
Many studies have been conducted on Mesophyll Collagen; the most recent ones indicate the trouble becomes more when there are heavy accidents of salt in the soil. Due fact that the last two years been below normal in many soils have not had customary winter leaching so salts have built up to where they have caused very outbreak of Mesophyll lapse in the county.
Where groves have not ed a heavy application of to leach out salts this would be advisable to apply heavy application of water fail to leach out the salts. The shoulder should penetrate below root-zone area. On poorly soils this is not advisable only solution is to keep moisture above the poorly ed area high. This will meet frequent irrigations.

organizations reported 3,293 such accounts eligible for payment to the state last year, Kuchel said.
Previous to being deposited in the state treasury, the accounts are published in newspapers, and owners are encouraged to make claims on the money.
At the present time, Kuchel said there are about 35,000 accounts in the state treasury, totaling $140,291.07, deposited over a period of years, which are subject to claim by owners before they escape to the state permanently. The money, when turned over to the state, goes to support the public schools.
Note Mesophyll Collapse of Citrus Trees
Many citrus groves in Orange county have shown a considerable increase in the amount of leaves affected with Mesophyll Collapse this year reports Dick Puffer, farm advisor in Orange county.
Mesophyll Collapse is a breakdown or death of inner cells within the leaves and can be noticed by holding the leaf to a light. The areas affected will show up as lighter colored clear areas. The problem is serious because with the first strong desert winds mahy leaves will probably drop from this trouble.
Many studies have been conducted on Mesophyll Collapse and the most recent ones indicate that the trouble becomes more severe when there are heavy accumulations of salt in the soil. Due to the fact that the last two years have been below normal in rainfall, many soils have not had their customary winter leaching and dorsse and support every activity which will strengthen the defense of our country. Of the more than 1,500,000 Americans in the Armed Forces today, 60 per cent are under the age of 21. These youths in uniform desperately need the services the USO is now rendering.
"American veterans recall with pleasure and gratitude the 'home away from home' that the USO maintained for them through the general financial sponsorship of the civilian home folks through the war years. What was done for us, the veterans, we would like to see done for the boys who have taken over the responsibility for the military security of our country."
Of the USO fund appeal in California, which has been included by 24 Community Chests and will be conducted independently elsewhere, with a total state goal of $958,800, the veteran leaders declared:
"We are confident that we voice the sentiment of all veterans in California in urging all patriotic citizens to support the new USO, both by giving generously when asked for contributions, and in every other way possible."
Native flowering plants of the United States number from 12,-600 to 15,000.

Dr. Robert Auly of the Orange Presbyterian Church, officiating. Intermbe in Fairhaven cemetery.
Problem is serious because with the first strong desert winds mahy leaves will probably drop from hills trouble.
Many studies have been conducted on Mesophyll Collapse and the most recent ones indicate that the trouble becomes more severe when there are heavy accumulations of salt in the soil. Due to the fact that the last two years have been below normal in rainfall, many soils have not had their customary winter leaching and salts have built up to a point where they have caused this severe outbreak of Mesophyll Collapse in the county.
Where groves have not received a heavy application of water to leach out salts this year, it would be advisable to apply one heavy application of water this fall to leach out the salts. The water should penetrate below the spot-zone area. On poorly drained soils this is not advisable so the only solution is to keep the soil moisture above the poorly drained area high. This will mean light frequent irrigations.
