I. Maude E. Stevens, the owner of furnished cottages known as Palm Motor Lodge and located No. 1100 North Palm Street, in the City of Anaheim, California; hereby claims all lien upon the baggage, clothing and other property brought into said Palm Motor Lodge by Frank J. O'Neill or about the 18th day of September 1949; and more than sixty days have elapsed since the expiration of the time accommodations and lodging were furnished to him, and the amount of $74.77 is now due on account of the aforesaid accommodations and lodging not having been paid by the above-named person, and the lien on the undersigned pursuant to the provisions of Section 1861a of the Civil Code of California not having been paid or satisfied.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the undersigned will proceed to sell the baggage clothing and other property of the above-named person, Frank J. O'Neill at public auction at said Palm Motor Lodge. Fair Concessions
Approval of contract for a pointment of L. C. (Larry) Ferris to manage the independent concessions at the coming 1949 Cange County Fair; to be staged former Santa Ana Army Air Base site Aug. 18-21 inclusive was announced this week by H. Cliff Kellogg of Garden Grove president of the board directors for the fair.
Ferris will be in charge of concessions for the coming even and will be available until further notice; at the fairground every Wednesday of each week.
Ferris is well-known in concession and carnival circles. He present he is serving in this san capacity for the San Diego County Fair. He is also operator of the Ferris Greater Shows and will have this carnival in operation on the 1949 Orange County Fair.

FROM SAUDI ARABIA
D. M. Smith of Fullerton, more familiarly known to his friends this city as "Smitty," returned his home last Sunday from Saudi Arabia where he had been employed for the past 25 months. He made the return trip by plane leaving the port on June 1 and coming by way of Paris and into Ireland on his return trip. "Smitty" is glad to be home again when he can find a tree and shade from the blazing sun.

Large baskets of white stock and delphinium adorned the candelit altar of St. Boniface Catholic church before which Miss Velda Ann Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orval J. Clark, 537 West Chestnut street, Anaheim, and Edmund A. Brunet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Al Brunet of 727 South Philadelphia street, this city, were wed Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock with the Father Paul Carroll reciting the nuptials.
More than 300 friends and relatives witnessed the ceremony. Dainty bows marked each pew.
The bride was gowned in white slipper satin. Her ensemble featured a shawl collar bordered in Pointe de Venise lace and a fingertip veil caught by a crown of seed pearls. Given in marriage by her father, she carried lilies of the valley and a white orchid resting on a prayer book.
Sister of the bride, Mrs. John Beeson, was the matron of honor. She wore a gown of powder blue waffle pique with a matching bonnet and carried a basket of white stock and yellow daisies as did the other bridal attendants.
Yellow pique gowns and matching bonnets were worn by another of the bride's sisters, Miss Joanne Clark, and Mrs. Donald Baggott, and the bridegroom's sister, Miss Kathleen Brunet.
Miss Marcelina Arrouses, sang "Ave Maria" and "Panis Angelicus" accompanied by Mrs. A. F. Faust.
Flower girl was Mary Carol Bauer, cousin of the bride, clad in a blue pique frock. She carried a white basket filled with white daisies and yellow stock.
Serving as best man was Wallace Duffy. Ushers included Fred Van Raes, Joe Truxaw and Tim Brunet, brother of the bridegroom.
The garden of Capilla de San Antonio was filled with more than 400 relatives and friends attending the reception following the ceremony. Assisting with arrangements were Mrs. Don Curl, Mrs. Bill Mills, Mrs. Robert Glurton and Mrs. Ude Bauer, Jr.
The newlywed left on a two week honeymoon in northern California after which they will establish their home at 929 North Claudina street, this city. For traveling the new Mrs. Brunet chose a beige sharkskin suit and red accessories worn with her bridal orchid.
For the ceremony and reception, the bride's mother, Mrs. O. J. Clark, wore a navy suit, white accessories and a corsage of red carnations. Mrs. Al Brunet, the bridegroom's mother, was attired in a print dress, white accessories and a corsage of white carnations.
The bride is a graduate of Fullerton Union high school and Fullerton Junior college. Her husband, a graduate of Anaheim Union high school and the University of California, has a degree in engineering and is associated in business with his father.
Robinson Rites Held Wednesday
Funeral services for Clarence Eugene Robinson, 76, who died early Monday forenoon at the family home, 616 North Philadelphia street, Anaheim, after an extended illness, were conducted at Hilgenfeld chapel yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Rollo E. Dunham, pastor of White Temple Methodist church, officiating.
Surviving are Mr. Robinson's wife, Ellen N. Robinson of the family home; two sons, Amos D. Robinson of Anaheim and Charles P. Robinson of Fullerton; one daughter, Mrs. Emma Bassler of Buena Park, and two granddaughters.
He was a member of White Temple Methodist church, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows No. 199, Lois Rebekah Lodge No. 268, Knights of Pythias Lodge No. 105 and the Pythian Sisters.
A native of Ohio, Mr. Robinson had been a resident of the Anaheim vicinity for 38 years.
The ritual of the Odd Fellows Lodge was read at the mausoleum in Loma Vista Memorial Park.
Catalina Lehr Taken by Death
Miss Cataline Lehr, 53, 214 North Lemon street, died last Monday at St. Joseph hospital. A native of Mexico, she had resided in Anaheim for the past 35 years.
Surviving are two brothers, Pete and Joseph Lehr, both of Anaheim; and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Sesma of Los Angeles, Mrs. Elizabeth Sulenta of Los Angeles and Mrs. Eva Bain of Anaheim.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic church and active in its Altar Society.
Rosary was held Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock from Backs, Campbell and Kaulbars chapel. Mass was recited Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Boniface Church so that all faithful can join in the worship.
Lions to Seat Officers Friday
Lions club officers will be installed tomorrow noon at the Elks club with Jim McDill, district governor of San Bernardino doing the honors.
Leavitt Ford will be succeeded by Joe Critchfield in the esteemed presidential chair.
Other dignitaries to be present include Frank Shufelt, mayor of Seal Beach, ex-past district governor, and Louis Hoskins, Anaheim postmaster, past district governor.
